Shawnee on Delaware, PA- Shawnee Mountain Ski Area will be holding its annual job fair and winter hiring session on Saturday, November 13th, 2010 in the Base Lodge from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All department supervisors will attend this session and almost all of the winter positions will be filled on that day. Each applicant will have the opportunity to speak with as many department supervisors as they wish. Both inside and outside seasonal positions are available. The majority of applicants should be 18 years of age or older, although there is a need for younger workers, ages 16 & 17, in some of the inside departments. We expect a large turnout again this year. Shawnee Mountain Ski Area employs 500 to 600 employees each ski season. Applicants are encouraged to come early and have the necessary information with them to complete the application process. Cold weather permitting, we plan to open December 4th.
