Winter Fun Should Always Be Affordable!

For Immediate Release

Shawnee on Delaware, PA-

In today’s tighter economic times, it’s more important than ever to find imaginative ways to save a few dollars. Let’s face it; we all still want to have the same amount of winter sports fun, we just want it to cost less. This is where group discounts come into play. After all, winter fun should always be affordable and easy!

Forming a group is easier than you think. Being connected through clubs, organizations, churches and recreation centers along with social networking make promoting and organizing a winter outing to the mountain easier than ever. Call, text, tweet and Facebook all of your family, friends and colleagues and start a group. It only takes 15 yes’s…

Shawnee Mountain offers tremendous savings for groups as small as fifteen members. Although a typical group discount from full price tickets is 20%, some savings can be as high as 45% off retail rates. Learn to ski or snowboard packages that normally sell for $80.00 can be reserved and purchased at an incredible $59.00 through group sales.

Shawnee Mountain group sales also offers discount opportunities during two annual scout events, Girl Scout Day in early January and the Pocono Scout weekend in early March. These events not only offer significantly reduced rates; they do not require a minimum group size.

Additional group information on single day trips, overnight outings and special group events can be found on the group sales web page at www.shawneemt.com or by contacting group sales directly at (570) 421-7231 ext. 223.
