WHAT'S NEW FOR WINTER 2009-2010

Shawnee on Delaware, PA- Along with the Tubing Park and grooming improvements, the Shawnee Rental Shop is the center of attention this fall as Ski Shawnee, Inc. has again invested over $1 million in capital improvements for the coming 2009-10 winter sports season.
NEW Flow Go Riding Center
Already one of the largest ski and snowboard rental facilities in the US, and now with the purchase of 1000 new pair of Flow Snowboard Boot and Binding system units, the Shawnee Rental Shop has been designated a Premier Flow Go Riding Center. The new Flow system offers the latest technology in rental equipment truly designed to help beginners learn to snowboard. Flow equipment is fast to set up, very durable, performs at a high level and is very professional looking. Additional Shawnee rental purchases for 09-10 include over 300 pair of new Elan Skis with Salomon Bindings and 170 new Carrera and Burton Rental Helmets.
Go Pod Lockers
Also new in the Shawnee Rental Shop, the aging coin operated lockers are being replaced with new larger electronic lockers. The revolutionary Go Pod Locker System directs guests to a centrally located kiosk where they can rent a locker with cash, credit card or even a prepaid card. Each Go Pod locker door has a guest key 
pad allowing guests immediate, unlimited, all day access to their securely stored items. No keys involved, guests simply choose their own pin code during the rental process at the kiosk, then go directly to the electronically assigned locker door.
NEW Tubing Carpet Lift
Shawnee’s popular Pocono Plunge Snow Tubing Park will be home to a new 450’ SunKid Carpet Conveyor Lift. The new user friendly lift will be positioned alongside Shawnee’s existing Tubing Carpet Lift and will replace an older handle tow lift. The positioning of the new carpet lift will allow for up to two additional tubing chutes bringing the total chutes to seven at full capacity.
NEW Snow Cat
Adding to Shawnee’s already impressive grooming fleet is another new Piston Bully Snow Cat complete with flex tiller groomer. A total of 125 skiable acres are groomed nightly on Shawnee Mountain along with the Bushkill Terrain Park and Pocono Plunge Tubing Park.
