Shawnee on Delaware, PA - Shawnee Mountain Ski Area will be hosting its 25th Annual Costume Carnival Day on Sunday, March 16. On this day, everyone in a full costume receives a FREE lift ticket for the day.

A costume parade and contest will be held at 1:00 pm. The categories for judging include best family, most original, funniest, and best junior costumes. Great prizes including season passes, miser discount cards, and lift tickets will be awarded to the first three places in each category. Spectators are welcome.

Costume Carnival Day is held in conjunction with Shawnee's annual Club Shawnee party. This party is open (by invitation only) to all Club Shawnee members and is Shawnee's way of thanking their loyal skiers and snowboarders. Shawnee Mountain invites everyone to come out in costume and have fun, ski FREE and maybe win a great prize, too.

Shawnee Mountain Ski Area plans to be open daily for Skiing and Snowboarding through end of March 2008 & maybe longer (weather permitting).
