Trail course geared for beginner/novice trail runners & walkers. Mostly gravel/dirt roads and tree lined open trail.

This race is produced by Shawnee Mountain Ski Area in cooperation with Pocono Area Runners Club members and for the benefit of the Pocono chapter of Girls on the Run.

Girls on the Run a non-profit prevention program that encourages preteen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. Find out more about Girls on the Run by visiting their website at www.girlsontherun.org.

Entry Fees:

Before July 7th:

Advance Entry Fee

$20 Adult; $15 Youth (17 & Under)

Includes:

- High-tech running shirt (limited supply, shirts to the first 200 to enter)

- Post race refreshments

- Awards ceremony & prize drawing

- Free admission to Poconos' Wurst Festival on race day

July 7th to Race Day:

$25 Adult; $20 Youth (17 & Under)

Includes all of the above

Times:

7:30-8:15 am: Bib and Packet Pick-up

8:30 am Sharp: Race Begins

10:15 am: Awards & Prize Drawing

12:00 pm: Festival Starts

Awards:

Trophies to overall and master (over age 40) male and female winners.

Medals will be awarded to the first, second and third place finishers in the following age groups for the race:

12 & under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 & over, oldest and youngest finisher.
