Race Information:

Rain or shine (Rain would make it even more fun)

Distance: 5K (+ or - as close as possible to 3.1m)

A mountain trail run, with natural & manmade obstacles, challenging ups and downs, rocky, wooded and wet terrain, shallow water crossings and lots of Mountain MUD!. All on Shawnee Mountain trails and grounds.

A timed event, (limited age categories) with emphasis on FUN, TEAMWORK and helping each other finish safely. All team members must cross finish together. Costumes welcome!

For guys and gals ages 13 and up (for teams see Team Options below)

Post race BBQ starts at noon.
Live Music - TALKING MACHINE - Noon to 4pm.
Raffle and awards 1pm.

*Kids Run 1K distance, includes lunch and finish medal for all participants.

Heat Start Times (subject to change):

- Individuals - 9:30am

- 2-person teams - 10:30am

- 4-person teams - 11:00am

- Kidz Mini Run - 12:30

- Awards and Raffle - 1pm

Families and spectators welcome. Additional BBQ food and beverages available at the post race party. We have ample FREE parking.

Race Beneficiary

Our non profit beneficiary of this event will be Pocono Chapter of Girls on the Run www.girlsontherun.org.

Also, participants will be encouraged to donate their muddy running shoes after the race, Shawnee Mountain will wash them, pack and ship to Soles4Souls www.soles4souls.org
