Shawnee on Delaware, PA – The Pocono Garlic & Harvest Festival will be taking place at Shawnee Mountain on Labor Day Weekend, September 1 & 2, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Over 65 vendors will be offering everything from garlic ice cream and pickles to garlic-themed pottery, handmade crafts and more! Local wines and craft beers will be available by the glass or bottle. This festival will also feature other late summer produce such as hot peppers, heirloom tomatoes and onions.
House of Hamill, a Celtic group from Philadelphia, and Jingo, a Carlos Santana Tribute Band, will be performing both days on the main stage. The Lost Ramblers and Juggernaut String Band will be strolling the festival grounds all weekend long! Educational demonstrations will be taking place throughout the weekend. There will be demonstrations by the Monroe County Beekeepers Association, the Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and the Butterfly Guy. There will also be presentations by Penn State Master Gardener, Carolyn Jones and Garlic Expert, Bob Dunkel.
The annual Garlic Eating Contest will be taking place both days under the main festival tent.
