Live Music

Junior's Wailing:

This band takes its name from the tune recorded in 1969 by British blues-rock band Steamhammer. (The tune was also later recorded by Status Quo.) The band first came together in late 2016, and is built around the exciting guitar work of Quakertown guitarist and vocalist Johnny Thompson (aka Johnny T.). Rounding out the group are three much-in-demand musicians from Monroe County: Phil Scott on keyboards, vocals, and little trumpet; Rick Madigan on Fender bass; and Tony Dellaria on drums.

Much of the band’s repertoire comes from those areas of music that have greatly influenced Johnny T.'s guitar playing: the classic blues, mid to late 60s British blues (Mayall, early Fleetwood Mac, the immortal Peter Green), and British Invasion rock and roll (Sir Ray Davies & The Kinks). All these are brought together in a biting and powerful synthesis. All four members of Junior’s Wailing would agree with something Phil Scott’s father once told him: "If you’re gonna play music, I think you have to play the blues."

Call it Alternative Country, call it Southern Rock, they call it Americana-core or Mountain Rock. The sounds of Cash, Haggard, The Sex Pistols, The Drive By Truckers, Hank Williams 1, 2 and 3, Elvis, Zeppelin, The Stones, Neil Young and lots of 70s A.M. Gold form the roots of 237. This band is comprised of Steve McDaniel, John Lamana, Steve Berlen, Jesse Singer.

Flyin' Blind:

Founded in 2007, Flyin Blind is a Pop, Rock, and Country dance/party band based in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. Covering audience favorites from the 70’s and 80’s classics to today’s hits, the band delivers dynamic performances complete with amazing vocal harmonies provided by their 4 lead vocalists including band leader/bassist Mark Cook, guitarist Lance Miller, vocalist Kim Cook, and guitarist Mark Fahad. Flyin Blind is known as one of the hardest working bands in the area and has been entertaining audiences in a variety of venues throughout Northeastern PA and New Jersey including some Pocono area concert venues as the opening act for legendary rock bands such as Three Dog Night, Jefferson Starship, and Kansas!

Pocono Duo & the Law:

Toby Costa and Kevin Leggieri decided it was time to do this. Toby (acoustic guitar & vocals) and Kevin (bass & vocals) created The Pocono Duo. Playing a unique collection of covers from the 70’s, 80‘s, 90‘s, and beyond, The Duo has developed a faithful following in the Pocono region, Performing four to five nights a week, garnering praise from college students to vacationers, and going through more strings and batteries than ever thought possible.  Besides seeing us in our own hometown of the Poconos, you can also find us at times playing live music in the Lehigh Valley, New York City, and other areas.
